Carl Jenkinson excited by Chelsea clash

Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson insists that he is looking forward to his team's Premier League clash with Chelsea tonight.

Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson has revealed that he is looking forward to his team's Premier League clash with Chelsea tonight.

The Gunners will return to the top of the table if they beat their London rivals at the Emirates Stadium.

Despite there being plenty at stake for both sides, Jenkinson insists that he will enjoy the occasion if he is selected by manager Arsene Wenger.

"Arsenal versus Chelsea these days is always a massive game," he told the club's official website. "There's always a lot of significance in it anyway.

"I think it's going to be a very important game and it's one we're looking forward to. The big games are always the most enjoyable ones to play in I think."

Jenkinson has made 14 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal so far this season.
