Arsenal are reportedly interested in bringing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain back to the Emirates Stadium.
The English midfielder represented the Gunners between 2011 and 2017 before making the move to Liverpool, but he has struggled to settle at Anfield, largely due to his injury problems.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has made five appearances for the Reds this term, although he has only featured twice in the Premier League, turning out against Norwich City and Leeds United.
The 28-year-old's contract with Liverpool is due to expire in June 2023, and according to The Sun, Arsenal are considering making an attempt to bring him back to the club.
The report claims that the England international is keen on a fresh challenge after becoming frustrated with his lack of opportunities in Jurgen Klopp's starting team.
Mikel Arteta's side could allegedly attempt to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain on loan for the remainder of the season, but there is likely to be an option to make it a permanent switch next summer.
