Arsenal 'put Raul Jimenez at top of four-man attacking shortlist'

Arsenal reportedly identify Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez as one of four potential replacements for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Arsenal have reportedly identified Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez as a potential transfer target.

The Gunners are currently doing everything possible to retain the services of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has just over 11 months remaining on his contract.

However, given the uncertainty over their star man's future, it has left Mikel Arteta to put together a list of alternatives.

According to Le 10 Sport, Jimenez is Arsenal's preferred target after again impressing for Wolves in the Premier League this season.

In total, the Mexico international, who has three years left on his contract, has contributed 43 goals from 96 appearances in his two years at Molineux.

Lyon's Moussa Dembele and Memphis Depay, as well as Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin, are also said to be in Arsenal's thoughts.
