Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly added Internacional attacker Yuri Alberto to his wishlist of attacking options.
The Gunners have tied highly-rated prospect Folarin Balogun down to a new long-term contract, but doubts persist over the futures of Eddie Nketiah, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
As a result, Arsenal could be in the market for a new frontman this summer, with Lyon's Moussa Dembele supposedly being eyed up as an ideal signing ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Now, Globo Esporte claims that Arsenal are now ready to reignite their interest in Brazilian starlet Alberto, who they tried and failed to sign as a 17-year-old when he plied his trade at Santos.
Alberto, now 20, has established himself as a regular for top-flight side Internacional, bagging 17 goals and two assists in 49 appearances since arriving in August 2020.
Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the £11m-rated striker, who has made two appearances for the Brazil Under-23 team and is contracted to Internacional until 2025.
