Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to rival Arsenal and Barcelona in the race to sign RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.

Bayern Munich have reportedly identified RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano as a potential summer signing.

Having starred for the Bundesliga side since January 2017, Upamecano is expected to move to a bigger club at the end of this season.

Arsenal and Barcelona have been strongly linked with the Frenchman in the past, aware that he has a release clause in the region of £50m.

However, Bild claims that Bayern are prepared to enter the race for the 21-year-old, despite the current rivalry between the two clubs.

The German giants are looking to freshen up their squad with younger players, making Upamecano an ideal addition to their backline.

Bayern have allegedly requested that they be informed of any movement from other clubs as they prepare their own approach.
