Arsenal are preparing a firm offer for Inter Milan right-back Achraf Hakimi, according to a report.
The Morocco international has impressed for the Serie A leaders since joining from Real Madrid in a £36m deal last summer.
However, Inter may be forced to sell a couple of their prized assets at the end of the season for financial reasons, with Hakimi among those attracting interest from elsewhere.
Spanish outlet AS claims that the Italian giants are prepared to sell the 22-year-old, who previously starred on loan with Borussia Dortmund, if they are offered £42m.
Arsenal are rumoured to be eyeing up Hakimi as a replacement for Hector Bellerin, who has been linked with Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
Madrid have a first-refusal option on Hakimi, but they are not believed to be interested in re-signing the defender.
