Roma will reportedly make an offer to sign Leicester City's Kelechi Iheanacho if they fail in their pursuit of Chelsea's Tammy Abraham.
The Serie A outfit are understood to have agreed a £34m fee with the Blues to sign the English forward and it is now down to the player to decide if he wishes to join.
Abraham, who has also been linked with Atalanta BC and Arsenal, would prefer a move to the Gunners, though Jose Mourinho is hoping he can persuade him to move to the Italian capital.
If the 23-year-old does turn down Roma's offer, then the Giallorossi will turn their attention to Leicester's Iheanacho, according to Sky Sports News.
The report also states that any potential move for the Nigerian is likely to command a significant fee, as the striker signed a new three-year contract to stay with the Foxes in April.
Iheanacho, who found the net 19 times in 39 appearances across all competitions last season, scored the winning goal against Premier League champions Manchester City last weekend, which helped Leicester win the Community Shield at Wembley.
