Crystal Palace reportedly offer a new four-year deal to Wilfried Zaha, who is out of contract in the summer.

Crystal Palace have reportedly offered Wilfried Zaha a new four-year contract that would make him the best-paid player in the club's history.

Across two spells with the Eagles, Zaha has made 455 competitive appearances, scoring 89 goals and providing 76 assists.

The 31-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and as it stands, he will be able to leave the club on a free transfer.

Zaha is expected to reject a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad, who have allegedly tabled a £9m-a-year contract.

The Ivory Coast international is keen to remain in Europe, where he is attracting interest from a number of clubs.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Roma and Marseille have all been linked with the forward, but Palace have not given up hope of extending his stay.

According to The Guardian, the Eagles have offered him a four-year deal worth around £200,000 a week.

The new proposal would be a significant increase on Zaha's current £130,000 a week wage, and it would make him the highest-paid player in Palace's history.

Zaha is believed to be considering the proposal, but he wants assurances before signing an extension at Selhurst Park.

The striker has concerns about the club's lack of progress and wants the Palace hierarchy to be targeting European qualification rather than Premier League survival.

Zaha is also keen for Palace's managerial situation to be resolved, with Roy Hodgson set to depart when his short-term deal expires at the end of the season.

The Palace board are yet to make a decision on the new permanent manager with the likes of Feyenoord head coach Arne Slot and Lille boss Paulo Fonseca among the contenders.

The Ivorian is expected to wait until the end of the season before he decides whether to sign a new contract or move on to a fresh challenge.

After missing Palace's last three matches through injury, Zaha remains unavailable for Tuesday's away meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers, although he is expected to return to training later this week.

Hodgson has picked up 10 points from four games since returning to the Palace dugout, which has helped his side establish a nine-point gap to the drop zone.
