Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard is reportedly open to selling Ezri Konsa during the summer transfer window.
Since arriving in the West Midlands in July 2019, Konsa has made a total of 82 appearances in the Premier League, scoring five goals.
As many as 21 of those outings have come in the starting lineup this season, the 24-year-old retaining his spot since Gerrard replaced Dean Smith in the dugout.
However, according to Football Insider, the recently-appointed boss does not intend on keeping Konsa as one of his first-choice centre-backs.
The report suggests that Villa will entertain offers for the player ahead of 2022-23, with any money generated likely to be used for a higher-profile replacement.
Numerous reports have claimed that Liverpool's Joe Gomez will be targeted by Gerrard after he already expressed an interest in January.
