Atletico Madrid are reportedly drawing up a list of replacements for Diego Simeone, with the club considering changing their manager ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Argentine has led the Red and Whites to two La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, two Europa League titles, two UEFA Super Cups and one Spanish Super Cup since his arrival as head coach.
Atletico have also reached two Champions League finals under the 51-year-old, while they won last season's La Liga title, finishing two points clear of second-place Real Madrid.
The capital giants have been unable to launch a title defence this term, though, currently sitting fifth in the table, 15 points behind leaders Real Madrid, following their shock home loss to bottom-of-the-table Levante on Wednesday night.
Simeone still has more than two years left to run on his contract at Wanda Metropolitano, but according to Cadena Ser, the club's hierarchy are looking at possible replacements.
Atletico will be looking to return to winning ways in La Liga when they head to Osasuna on Saturday before welcoming Manchester United for the first leg of their last-16 Champions League clash next week.
