Atletico Madrid centre-back Diego Godin has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani 'would be delighted' to make the move to the Vicente Calderon at the end of the season.
Cavani, 29, has been tipped to leave the French capital this summer and Atletico are one of a number of clubs that have been credited with an interest in the centre-forward.
According to Godin, his fellow Uruguay international would jump at the chance to join the Champions League finalists in the summer transfer window.
"I've called Cavani several times to come to Atleti. He loves Atletico and the way of playing, because it's a lot like the Uruguay team. He'd be delighted to come," Godin told El Partido de las 12.
Cavani has scored 24 times in 48 appearances for PSG this season.
