Gerard Deulofeu admits struggles

On-loan Sevilla attacker Gerard Deulofeu admits that the 2014-15 season has been "difficult".

Gerard Deulofeu has admitted that the 2014-15 season was "a hard and difficult year" on the football pitch.

The Spanish youngster joined Sevilla on loan from Barcelona last summer and had been tipped to shine at the Estadio Ramon.

However, the 21-year-old has really struggled for football in Seville, while he scored just three times for the La Liga club.

Deulofeu, however, has vowed to improve next season.

"The 14-15 campaign is over. It's been a hard and difficult year for me, but perhaps the year that I learned the most," he wrote on Instagram.

"We still have the Europa League final left and we'll go for it! Thanks for all the support and, above all, thanks to the fans who have been by my side."

Deulofeu will return to Barcelona next season, but is expected to be sent on another loan spell.
