Luis Enrique clears up Munir El Haddadi role

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique reveals that Munir El-Haddadi will continue switching between the first team and Barcelona B in the second half of the season.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has revealed that Munir El Haddadi will "continue switching between the first and second teams" this season.

There was some confusion as to whether the 19-year-old was officially a first-team member, with his involvement cut since Luis Suarez returned from suspension.

However, Enrique has revealed that the Spanish international will play his part for the first team and also Barcelona B in the second half of the campaign.

"He'll continue switching between the first and second teams, but I like what he does for us and I'm sure I'll be using him in plenty more first team matches," Enrique told reporters at a press conference.

Munir made his Barca and Spain debuts towards the start of the season.
