Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has suggested that Quique Setien will remain in charge for next season.
With the Catalan giants having surrendered the La Liga title to Real Madrid and frequent murmurings of discontent behind the scenes, it had been expected that Setien would be removed from his position in the dugout.
However, Bartomeu has insisted that there are no plans to make another change in the dugout for the foreseeable future.
Speaking to Sport, Bartomeu said: "He has a contract. When we hired him, we explained that it was a project for this season and all of next.
"Evaluating a coach after a few months, with a pandemic in the middle, is difficult."
Ahead of the resumption of the Champions League, Setien has recorded 15 wins and four draws from his 23 games in charge.
