Barcelona have reportedly started searching for a replacement for French forward Antoine Griezmann, should he depart the club on deadline day.
The Blaugrana are said to be close to agreeing a loan deal with Atletico Madrid, that would see the 30-year-old return to Los Colchoneros after departing for Barca in 2019.
Such a move would reportedly see Ronald Koeman's side immediately swoop for a new forward to replace Griezmann, who arrived for £108m and has netted 22 goals for the Camp Nou outfit.
According to Sky Sports News, Barca have set their sights on Sevilla forward Luuk De Jong as a potential replacement in the forward line, with the Andalusian side reportedly willing to discuss a deal following the arrival of Rafa Mir from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Dutch international arrived in Spain after hitting 28 goals and eight assists in 34 Eredivisie games for PSV Eindhoven in the 2018-19 season, and he has registered 10 goals in 69 La Liga appearances since that move, while picking up a Europa League title in 2020.
