Barcelona have reportedly held talks with the agent of Cruzeiro midfielder Ederson ahead of a potential move.
The 20-year-old, who has scored once in 11 appearances for his Brazilian club this season, largely operates as a holding midfielder.
According to Sport, Barca director of football Eric Abidal has travelled to Brazil to watch the youngster in action, while the Frenchman has also held talks with Ederson's agent.
The South American still has three years left to run on his contract with Cruzeiro, though, meaning that Raposa would be in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations.
The Spanish champions are also said to be targeting two Argentine youngsters in the shape of Ramos Mingo and Matias Palacios as they continue to look to the future.
Ernesto Valverde's side will be searching for their eighth straight win in all competitions when they travel to Levante in La Liga on Saturday afternoon.
