Barcelona director Javier Bordas has insisted that his club are still interested in signing Neymar despite failing to agree a deal with Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window.
Neymar was continually linked with a return to Camp Nou before the Spanish champions were ultimately made to accept defeat in their bid to re-sign the Brazil international.
Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu recently said that the club "did everything possible" in an attempt to bring the 27-year-old back to the Spanish champions this summer.
Bartomeu also ruled out a January approach for the former Santos youngster, but Bordas has insisted that Barca will continue to pursue him.
"As long as he wants to come, we will do what we can to come," Bordas told EFE. "The case of Neymar is a special case. He is an exceptional player and he wants to come to Barca. He has not adapted to Paris, he was wrong to go there, he has said it himself."
La Liga president Javier Tebas recently claimed that Neymar could retire at PSG unless the attacker's salary demands and the French club's asking price are lowered.
