Report: Barcelona consider Jonas Hector move

A report claims that Barcelona are in the race to sign German international Jonas Hector from Bundesliga side FC Koln.

Barcelona are reportedly considering a summer move for German international Jonas Hector.

The 26-year-old, who currently represents FC Koln in the Bundesliga, has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, with Liverpool believed to hold a long-standing interest.

Barcelona, meanwhile, are expected to move for at least one new full-back this summer after losing Dani Alves to Juventus.

Italian pair Matteo Darmian and Mattia De Sciglio have both been linked with Camp Nou, but according to Sport, Barcelona have joined the race for Hector, who impressed during Germany's run to the semi-finals of Euro 2016.

Hector has made 122 league appearances for Koln since joining the German side in 2013.
