Barcelona reportedly tell Aleix Vidal that he is free to find a new club during the January transfer window.

Barcelona have reportedly told Aleix Vidal that he is free to leave Barcelona during the January transfer window.

Vidal has spent the past two-and-a-half seasons at Camp Nou since joining the club from Sevilla, but the 28-year-old has not established himself in the first team at the Catalan giants.

The right-sided player has scored four goals in 42 appearances in all competitions, but just 14 starts have been made in La Liga.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Ernesto Valverde has allegedly informed Vidal that he can move on before the end of the month having played just 411 minutes of football in Spain's top flight and the Champions League this season.

Vidal could potentially return to former club Sevilla, where he made 46 outings during the 2014-15 campaign.
