Preview: Bayern Munich vs. Guangzhou Evergrande

Sports Mole looks ahead to Tuesday's FIFA Club World Cup semi-final between European champions Bayern Munich and China's Guangzhou Evergrande.

Bayern Munich will begin their quest to become the first German winners of the FIFA Club World Cup on Tuesday.

The European champions enter the competition at the semi-final stage with a match against China's Guangzhou Evergrande in Agadir, Morocco.

Guangzhou, who qualified for the event by winning the 2013 AFC Champions League, booked their date with Bayern by beating African champions Al-Ahly 2-0 in the quarter-finals on Saturday.

If Bayern overcome Guangzhou, then they will face either Atletico Mineiro of Brazil or Morocco's Raja Casablanca in the final in Marrakesh on December 21.

Bayern have taken their strongest available squad to Morocco, although winger Arjen Robben is absent with a knee injury.

Guangzhou will be captained by former Celtic and Charlton Athletic midfielder Zheng Zhi and their star player is Argentine playmaker Dario Conca.
