Play-off hunting Birmingham City and Cardiff City are unable to find the net during the opening 45 minutes at St Andrews.

Birmingham City and Cardiff City both struggled to create any goalscoring chances of note during the opening 45 minutes at St Andrews this afternoon.

Visiting Cardiff had the better of the possession, but they were limited to shooting from distance.

Joe Mason and Ben Turner had their best opportunities, but neither were able to keep their 25-yard efforts on target.

Victory for either side will see them take a place within the Championship's top six, while a draw for the hosting Blues will be enough to see them claim a play-off spot.
