Championship side Birmingham City have confirmed that Jonathan Spector has signed a new two-year contract at St Andrew's.
The American defender was due to be out of contract this summer, but has reached an agreement to remain with the Blues until 2017.
Spector, 29, has been with Birmingham for four years since joining from West Ham United, last season making 26 appearances for the club.
Birmingham also announced the signing of former Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak this afternoon.
