The striker joined the Blues on a four-year deal from Danish side Randers FC last summer but has failed to carve out a place in Gary Rowett's side.
In all the Dane has made eight appearances for the St Andrew's outfit, three of them starts, and missed the club's pre-season preparations as he was in Rio representing his country at the Olympics.
Zwolle are currently propping up the Eredivisie table after four games of the new season.
