Norwegian club Molde have confirmed that their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not be leaving them for Blackburn Rovers.
Reports surfaced at the weekend claiming that the former Manchester United striker was one of the contenders for the managerial hotseat at Ewood Park, should the club's owners to decide to sack Steve Kean.
However, the 38-year-old's current employers have rubbished suggestions that he is about to return to the Premier League.
"These rumours will not let Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lose focus in the run-in for the Norwegian League," a spokesman from the club told talkSPORT.
"Ole thrives at Molde with his players. He has an agreement for another two-and-a-half years and these years will be spent with Molde."
MFK are currently top of the Tippeligaen with seven matches remaining.
