Liverpool are rumoured to have tabled a bid for Bologna's Gaston Ramirez.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish has been tracking the midfielder for some time, and the player's agent recently confirmed that an unnamed Premier League side have made a firm offer for his services.
Ramirez, who has been one of Serie A's star players this season, will make a decision about his future in the summer.
"Bologna have received an offer near to €20m from an important club in the Premier League," the player's agent Pablo Bentancur told Italian TV station TMW.
"Bologna will decide at the end of the season what they are going to do."
Liverpool are expected to offload a number of players at the end of the season, with Dirk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez among those linked with an exit.
