Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus has insisted that the Bundesliga champions must reach the knockout stages of the Champions League next season.
The 23-year-old, who joined the club from Borussia Monchengladbach this summer, has also claimed that the German outfit have the "quality" to succeed next season.
"BVB represent their own unique philosophy and way of playing football. I have read while on vacation that my new team-mates have spoken about Champions League qualification [for the knockout stages] as a goal for the season, and I agree fully with that conviction," he told Bild.
"We have many international players who have gained even more international experience [at Euro 2012], so the quality is definitely there. So, if we manage to play BVB's typical brand of football on the highest of stages, I'm very optimistic."
Reus scored 21 goals for Monchengladbach last season.
