Callum Wilson has hailed the "great spirit" of his Bournemouth teammates after the South Coast side won 2-1 at home to West Bromwich Albion this evening to progress to the fifth round of the League Cup for the first time in their history.
Wilson netted a dramatic winner just moments after Georgios Samaras had equalised for the Premier League side and the striker praised his side for the resilience shown after being pegged back.
"We've made history, and it shows we have a great squad here," Wilson told BBC Sport after the final whistle.
"The manager made changes for this game, but whoever comes in has done well and continues that high level.
"We showed great spirit to get back in the game and then go on and win it."
Wilson has been in great goalscoring form this season, netting nine times in the league on top of tonight's strike.
