Burnley manager Sean Dyche has confirmed that Brighton & Hove Albion striker Ashley Barnes is having a medical at the club ahead of a proposed January move.
A reported bid was rejected by Brighton a week ago, but a new offer has been deemed acceptable and the player will move pending the completion of his medical.
"Sean Dyche confirms that striker Ashley Barnes is having a medical ahead of a proposed move to Burnley," the club confirmed on their Twitter feed.
Barnes, who has represented Austria at youth level, has scored six goals in 24 games for Brighton this season.
