Premier League relegation rivals Burnley and Cardiff City are reportedly locked in a two-way battle for West Bromwich Albion wideman Matt Phillips.
The 27-year-old, used predominantly on the right wing, has scored five goals and set up six more in the Championship this season.
Philipps's form has attracted the interest of top-flight strugglers Burnley and Cardiff, with The Mirror reporting that both sides are contemplating whether to make an offer before the end of the month.
Cardiff are looking to strengthen at right-back as a move for Liverpool's Nathaniel Clyne has faltered, and Phillips can slot into that defensive position.
Burnley, meanwhile, need cover further up the pitch because of an injury sustained by Aaron Lennon.
Scotland international Phillips has top-flight experience with Blackpool, Queens Park Rangers and West Brom.
