Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has said that he hopes to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond the end of this season.
The Ivorian, whose contract expires in the summer, admitted that he would like to remain at the club after opening the scoring in the side's 4-1 win over Napoli in the Champions League last night.
"It's true," Drogba told Canal+. "Many people said that it could be my last match in the Champions League but the story continues.
"I hope my [Chelsea] adventure continues a long time yet. But I'm not master of my destiny. [I am] just hoping for more moments like this."
Meanwhile, former Blues forward Nicolas Anelka has said that he is "confident" that Drogba will join him at Shanghai Shenhua.
