Gary Cahill: 'Chelsea made to grind out victory'

Gary Cahill admits that Chelsea were made to "grind out" their 2-1 victory away at Norwich City.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has conceded that his side were made to "grind out" their 2-1 win away at Norwich City this evening.

The visiting Londoners were comfortable during the first half and their domination showed on the scoreline thanks to goals from Kenedy and Diego Costa.

However, Nathan Redmond pulled one back after the restart to set up a nervy ending for the away side.

"It was horrible by the end. The last 15 to 20 minutes was tough," Cahill told BBC Sport.

"In first half we were in control. In the second, it was a totally different game. Credit to them. It feels good to dig in and grind out the result."

The three points have moved Chelsea up to eighth in the Premier League.
