Chelsea striker Fernando Torres believes that next season will be much brighter for him at Stamford Bridge following a dismal season with the London club.
The Spain hitman, who scored in his side's 4-0 win over Italy in the Euro 2012 final, finished last season with Champions League and FA Cup winner's medals but the 27-year-old spent the majority of the campaign watching from the sidelines.
"I will leave this season behind," said Torres. "Now I have to rest and enjoy this and be ready for the next season, which I am sure will be full of great moments.
"Last season was complicated for me. It doesn't mean it was bad, far from it, but it was complicated, with very difficult moments for me."
Torres could become a regular first-team striker under Roberto Di Matteo next season following the departure of Didier Drogba.
