Team News: Sergio Aguero starts against Chelsea

Striker Sergio Aguero is named in Manchester City's first XI for the visit of Chelsea.

Sergio Aguero has been named in Manchester City's first XI for the visit of Premier League champions Chelsea this afternoon.

The Argentine striker started on the bench for their 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion last Monday but he returns to spearhead the attack at the expense of Wilfried Bony today.

It is Manuel Pellegrini's only change from the win over the Baggies, with Raheem Sterling, Jesus Navas, David Silva and Yaya Toure supporting the striker.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho is forced into two changes from the Blues' 2-2 draw with Swansea City on the opening day of the 2015-16 campaign.

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois serves out a one-match ban following his red card against the Swans as Asmir Begovic deputises, while Ramires replaces the injured Oscar.

Manchester City: Hart; Sagna, Kompany , Mangala, Kolarov; Yaya Toure, Fernandinho, Navas, Silva, Sterling; Aguero

Chelsea: Begovic; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Ramires, Matic; Willian, Fabregas, Hazard; Costa
