Team News: Marco van Ginkel, Kevin de Bruyne get Chelsea starts

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho picks Marco van Ginkel and Kevin de Bruyne to start in today's pre-season friendly against AC Milan.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has handed young duo Marco van Ginkel and Kevin de Bruyne the chance to shine against AC Milan at the MetLife Stadium tonight.

Van Ginkel keeps his place in central midfield for today's International Champions Cup semi-final after impressing against Inter Milan last week.

De Bruyne also starts alongside Eden Hazard and Oscar in an advanced midfield role, supporting lone striker Demba Ba.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Ryan Bertrand also come in for the Blues, who are aiming to maintain an unbeaten run during pre-season.

Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has named a strong starting lineup for the showpiece friendly, with Mario Balotelli partnering Stephan El Shaarawy in attack.
