Chelsea place Stephan El Shaarawy on a shortlist of summer transfer targets, according to reports.

Chelsea are reportedly considering a £30m summer swoop for AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy.

The Italian international scored 18 goals in all competitions for Milan last season, enjoying a fine first half of the campaign before partnering January recruit Mario Balotelli.

El Shaarway has just finished a marathon season at the Confederations Cup with the Azzurri, but is due for talks over his future with Milan president Adriano Galliani later this summer.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho likes the look of the player nicknamed 'The Pharaoh' and has the placed the forward on a shortlist of transfer targets, according to The Express.

The 20-year-old can operate in a variety of attacking positions, with Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri largely using the youngster out wide in recent months.
