Chelsea 'keeping tabs on Antonee Robinson'

Chelsea have reportedly identified Wigan Athletic defender Antonee Robinson as a potential summer signing.

During the closing hours of the January transfer window, Robinson appeared on course to join AC Milan, only for the left-back to run out of time to complete a medical.

However, The Mirror claims that the former Everton youngster may get the opportunity to return to the Premier League later in 2020.

The report says that Chelsea are ready to rival Aston Villa and Newcastle United in the race for the 22-year-old's signature.

Despite the American making 29 starts in the Championship this season, Wigan are allegedly ready to cash in on their most prized asset.

Robinson has just under two-and-a-half years left on his contract at the DW Stadium.
