Chelsea have reportedly made contact with West Ham United about the potential transfer of striker Andy Carroll to Stamford Bridge.
Blues boss Antonio Conte is looking to provide cover for Spaniard Alvaro Morata up front, and could include Michy Batshuayi as part of a possible deal.
According to Sky Sports News, the Hammers are unwilling to sell Carroll for less than his valuation, a stance that could change should Batshuayi be offered by Chelsea.
The Belgian, who has failed to settle under Conte since moving from Marseille in 2016, could be used as a makeweight by the Italian manager, who has struggled to find a place for Batshuayi in his team.
Chelsea are also allegedly interested in signing Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez, and could rival Manchester United for his signature after Manchester City dropped their interest in the Chilean.
