Liverpool have reportedly been handed a boost in their effort to sign RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.
Since the turn of the year, the Premier League leaders have been heavily linked with the Germany international, who has netted 27 goals in all competitions this season.
There has been the suggestion that the 23-year-old has a release clause in the region of £51m, a fee which Liverpool would allegedly be happy to meet in the summer.
However, Sport1 claims that Werner will be available for just €30m (£25.21m) when clubs come calling at the end of the campaign.
Although the lower figure should lead to more bids for the player, Liverpool are said to remain the favourites to secure his signature.
Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in Werner.
