Marko Marin insists that the low-key start to his Chelsea career has not persuaded him to seek a return to the Bundesliga in January.

Chelsea midfielder Marko Marin has insisted that he is focused on building a future at Stamford Bridge and has ruled out a return to Germany.

Marin joined the Blues last summer but has struggled to earn a starting berth after being hampered by injuries at the start of the season.

The 23-year-old believes that he needs to work hard to earn a change in fortunes but is adamant that he is committed to Chelsea on a long-term basis.

He told reporters: "I signed for five years. I've been unlucky with injury but there is no reason to call into question everything."

Marin has yet to start a Premier League game for the Blues and has been restricted to five appearances in all competitions this season.
