Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly ruled out a late move for Antonio Rudiger and Milan Skriniar as Jose Mourinho is content with his defensive options.
Spurs have been linked with Chelsea centre-back Rudiger and Inter Milan's Skriniar at various points over the past couple of months.
Reports suggested the Lilywhites were targeting one more defensive signing to cap an excellent summer window, but the Evening Standard claims that is no longer the case.
Mourinho is said to have informed chairman Daniel Levy that he does not feel the need to bring in another player at the back before Monday evening's deadline.
Tottenham are believed to have made a formal approach for Skriniar earlier in the window, only for Inter to knock them back.
Rudiger is now expected to remain at Stamford Bridge until at least January as his former club Roma are also supposedly out of the running to land his signature.
