Los Angeles Galaxy continued their recent resurgence with an impressive win over local rivals Club Deportivo Chivas USA.
Robbie Keane broke the deadlock on 14 minutes, calmly finishing one-on-one following a through ball from David Beckham.
Keane then became the provider as Landon Donovan doubled Galaxy's lead three minutes into the second half.
Former Galaxy midfielder Paolo Cardozo scored his first goal for Chivas moments later to give the Goats hope.
However, Donavan swept home a Bryan Gaul corner 12 minutes from time to restore his side's deserved advantage.
