Report: Scott Dann keen on Everton switch

A report suggests that Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann would like a move to Everton following their interest in signing him this summer.

Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann is reportedly keen to secure a move to Everton this summer.

The 28-year-old had an impressive season for the Eagles as he provided a solid presence at the back to ensure that the club were not embroiled in battle against the drop.

Roberto Martinez took note of the centre-back's performances and has lined up a move to take him to Goodison Park to replace Sylvain Distin.

Palace have reportedly told the Toffees that the defender is not for sale, but Dann is said to want a move to Merseyside as he was born in Liverpool, reports The People.

Dann made 37 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring four goals.
