Everton target Argentina striker
Everton look to sign Catania striker Maxi Lopez.

Everton are reportedly interested in bringing former Barcelona forward Maxi Lopez to Goodison Park.

Lopez, who signed for Catania in 2010, has also been linked with a move to Italian giants AC Milan. However, with that deal believed to have fallen through, the Toffees are still expected to make a move, according to The Mirror.

The Argentinian spent two seasons with Barcelona and is well remembered for his goal against Chelsea in his Champions League debut after arriving at the club from River Plate.

In 64 appearances for the Sicilian club, the 27-year-old has scored 22 goals.
