Gareth Barry has completed a permanent move to Everton, agreeing a three-year deal with the Merseyside club.
Barry, 33, became a vital part of Everton's side last season, making 37 appearances for the Toffees.
The former England international was out of contract after his deal at Manchester City was left to expire, and the player had been said to be considering his options.
However, it appears as though Roberto Martinez has convinced the midfielder to continue to ply his trade at Goodison Park.
Barry becomes Everton's first signing of the summer as the club look to bolster their ranks ahead of domestic and European campaigns.
