West Ham United are reportedly keen to sign Everton striker Nikica Jelavic in January.
Manager Sam Allardyce had been eager to recruit the Croatian international in the winter of 2012 once it was made known that he would be leaving Rangers, but the centre-forward eventually opted for Goodison Park.
However, he has fallen out of favour under new manager Roberto Martinez, who has recently preferred to start with Romelu Lukaku as a lone frontman.
That has captured the attention of Allardyce, who with Andy Carroll injured, is hoping that he can bolster his attacking options, according to The People.
Jelavic, 28, has made five appearances this season but is yet to find the net.
