Inter Milan have reportedly turned down a bid from Lyon to take Marcelo Brozovic on a season-long loan deal.
The Nerazzurri agreed to sell midfielder Mateo Kovacic to Real Madrid last week, although the Italian giants have yet to have to bring in a replacement.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Inter are reluctant to let go of Brozovic, whose one-and-a-half-year loan deal with Inter expires next summer.
Inter's loan agreement is thought to include an option to buy the 22-year-old from Dynamo Kiev.
Lyon have also been linked with Malaga midfielder Sergi Darder.
