Former Charlton Athletic defender Kelly Youga has joined Ipswich Town on a contract until January.
The 27-year-old has been without a club since he left Yeovil Town in March of this year.
However, following one training session with the Tractor Boys, new Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy has opted to give the Frenchman a chance to impress at Portman Road.
Youga, who began his career at Lyon playing alongside the likes of Karim Benzema and Eric Abidal, has been named in the Ipswich squad for tonight's Suffolk Premier Cup tie with Walsham-le-Willows of the Eastern Counties Premier Division.
