Report: Juventus team coach comes under attack from Torino supporters

The local derby between Juventus and Torino is marred by alleged violence prior to the match at the Stadio Olimpico.

Two Juventus supporters are said to have been left seriously injured after flares exploded inside the Stadio Olimpico away end this afternoon.

Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport reports that as many as 10 Juve fans were injured and had to be transported to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.

It is alleged that Torino followers also attacked the Juventus team coach prior to the derby meeting in Turin, smashing a window and causing further damage elsewhere.

A 2-1 victory for Torino was enough to prevent their arch-rivals from securing the Serie A title this weekend.
