Zlatan Ibrahimovic has refused to rule out the prospect of making a return to Europe after he leaves Los Angeles Galaxy this year.

The Swede completed a move to the MLS side in March 2018, scoring 52 goals in 56 appearances, but looks set to leave when his contract expires this year.

Ibrahimovic's last foray in Europe came at Manchester United, where he enjoyed a remarkable opening season, netting 28 times, before his time at Old Trafford was cut short by a knee injury.

When asked about whether he would still want to play in Serie A, the 38-year-old told Sky Sports Italia: "100%, I know I could still make the difference, both in Italy and in other countries. I'd do better than the players who are there now. My contract expires in December and I don't know what will happen after that."

Zlatan has previous experience in Serie A, enjoying successful spells at Inter Milan followed by AC Milan over a cumulative five-year period.

In a professional club career spanning 20 years, Ibrahimovic has claimed 473 goals in 786 appearances, along with 62 goals for Sweden.
