Leeds United are reportedly close to completing the signing of Red Bull Salzburg right-back Rasmus Kristensen.
The 24-year-old was a standout performer for the Austrian champions in 2021-22, scoring 10 goals and registering eight assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.
Jesse Marsch, who worked with Kristensen during his time in charge at Salzburg, is believed to be keen to reunite with the Denmark international as he bids to bolster his squad ahead of the new campaign.
According to The Telegraph, Brentford and Borussia Dortmund were also interested in Kristensen, but the defender has agreed personal terms with Leeds and "the deal is in place" for him to move to Elland Road for around €10m (£8.6m) this summer.
With Stuart Dallas set to miss the rest of the year with a broken leg, Kristensen will compete with 30-year-old Luke Ayling for a place at right-back should he finalise his move to the Whites.
Leeds have already completed the signing of Kristensen's Salzburg teammate Brenden Aaronson, who put pen to paper on a five-year deal at the end of last month.
